2008 PALOS VERDES CONCOURS D'ELEGANCE

In its 16Th year, the PALOS VERDES CONCOURS D'ELEGANCE will be held at the beautiful Donald Trump National Golf Club in Southern California, high on the cliffs above the blue Pacific Ocean.  The full weekend of events includes an elaborate Grand Marshal's Charity Dinner Gala where Grand Marshal and  television news Personality Dave Kunz, best known for his automotive expertise, will be honored. Both live and silent auction items will be offered at the Gala including a weekend stay at the new Terranea Resort on the peninsula.

The Saturday driving rallye has adopted a unique theme to keep annual participants interested. Following the theme of a recently authored book, a "murder mystery" plot will send willing entrants and their cars on the hunt. The rallye has been coined "Tour d'Epicure" and offers wonderful food stops along the way, hosted by various establishments in the area.  All cars, clubs,, concours entrants and enthusiasts are welcome.

The formal judged Concours d'Elegance event honoring 100 years of GM takes place on Sunday. Cadillac cars will be featured along with a special alternative vehicle display and Corvette corral. Approximately 200 pristine examples of classic and exotic cars, both American and European, will be elegantly displayed to the general public.
